An October 11 article in Foreign Policy magazine says there is a “hipster wing” in Vladimir Putin’s propaganda machine. Known as Set (network), the group refers to Putin as “the father.” It is directed at teens and twenty-somethings. “The path laid by the father is not one of argument with him, but rather argument with the open world laying before us,” the group proclaims. It portrays itself as “together with the father” and “at one with him.”
