For the first time, a poll shows a majority of Scotland’s voters favor independence, 51% vs. 49%. A September 7 article in The Scotsman says the gap between voters, which was formerly in the double digits, has vanished “in a matter of months.” The independence vote, set for September 18, is now “too close to call.”
