The Senate Intelligence Committee voted to release a strongly critical review of the secret CIA terror interrogations program. An AP article says it is, “the fullest public accounting of the Bush administration’s record when it comes to waterboarding and other ‘enhanced interrogation techniques.’”
The report further states that the program was “excessively cruel and ineffective in producing valuable intelligence.” Senator Dianne Feinstein says that “it chronicles a stain on our history that must never be allowed to happen again.”
