Executives at Lionsgate Summit Entertainment are confident that the movie market can sustain another dystopian series such as the Hunger Games. And on March 21 they are releasing Divergent, a film set in the future in Chicago, where young people are tested and divided into factions based on their personalities and virtues. When main character Tris Prior takes the test, she is found to have an aptitude for multiple factions. In other words, she is “divergent,” and that’s where the trouble begins.
