QatarMigrant-BBCDespite a growing outcry about the mistreatment of migrant workers in Qatar, the practice continues according to a December 1 article in The Guardian. This summer, 44 Nepalese workers died from heart failure or workplace accidents. Employers in Qatar have denied migrant workers their wages, refused to give them water on job sites and held their passports to keep them from leaving the country.

Mistreatment of migrant workers in Qatar is just one example of increasing human slavery.
