The town of Gottingen is apparently ground zero in the legalization fight in Germany. Pro-legalization campaigners have planted thousands of marijuana plants all over the college town in an act of defiance against Germany’s drug laws. The protest-plants have sprung up in parks, private gardens, window boxes, and even right outside the police station.
