A European Union without Britain? The possibility was unthinkable 10 years ago. But British Prime Minister David Cameron believes that without EU reforms, his people will “drift towards the exit.” Cameron wants to renegotiate his country’s EU membership. He says the organization suffers from debt, declining competitiveness and dwindling public approval. And, he sees a growing gap between the EU’s leadership and its 500 million citizens.
